Bird
Pelicans are large water birds known for their distinctive long bills and expandable throat pouches, which they use to catch and store fish. They primarily inhabit coastal and inland water bodies. They employ a cooperative hunting strategy, often working in groups to herd fish into shallow waters. Their strong flight abilities and unique feeding behaviour make them fascinating subjects of study in avian biology.

Fun Fact:
Did you know pelicans have excellent vision and can spot fish as high as 60 feet in the air? Their keen eyesight helps them spot prey even while flying over the water!
